Thanks to all for helping 2008 be one of beast seasons in several years. If you have not done so, please pick up your chairs on Saturday September 6th from 12 till 4 PM. Any chairs left on the property may be tossed out. The base dues will be $460. The dues can be paid by check or credit card. Over the next month the committee, consisting of 5 members and 5 board of trustees created a list of 21 changes. On Sunday August 24, 2008 a special meeting was called to vote on the proposed changes. Approximately 25 members were present along with the board members. All 21 changes were enacted. The link goes to the newly enacted by-laws. The pool is open to the public, 21 years old or older. $5 for members and $10 for non-members. - http://www.bogotaswimclub.com/MovieNight.shtml - The Bogota Swim Club is having its second movie night. The movie is "Shark Tale". The pool will close at 8:00 PM for the movie. The pool is open to the public and the admission is free. A vote on the proposed By-Law changes will take place at 3:00 PM on Sunday August 24, 2008 in the Picnic area of the Swim Club. Members may meet with the By-Law committee (established by the BSC President enlisting several Trustees and volunteer Members to review and recommend changes) starting at 2:00 PM to discuss the proposed changes. This new system uses a scanner to check you in. No more having to leave your cards at the office (or forgetting them either). Your picture will be on file.
